HC01-HALAL COMPETENCY COURSE

Synopsis

Mandatory every three years, Halal Competency Training (HCT) is essential for all the Internal Halal Committee (IHC) members appointed. This strategically designed training not only aims to enhance their proficiency in managing halal matters but also seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to navigate the intricate landscape of Halal industries successfully. HCT guarantees a profound understanding of Shariah principles and ensures participants are up-to-date with industry standards, aligning them with the stringent criteria in the dynamic realm of Halal certification and compliance.

Objectives

1. To enhance the understanding of Halal concepts among IHC members.

2. To empower the IHC with essential knowledge and practical expertise to effectively oversee the entire halal operation within the company.

3. To ensure the IHC competence and skillful in the preparation of the Halal Assurance System (HAS) and compilation of Halal file.

1. Shariah & Fatwa concepts related to Halal.

2. Malaysian Standard (MS).

3. Malaysian Halal Certification Procedure Manual (Domestics) 2020.

4. Malaysia Halal Management System (MHMS) 2020.

5. Legislation related to Halal.

6. Halal Issues & Critical Ingredients.
