Application of this module is developed as one of the content for Halal Actions for Young Scientists Project pioneered by Kolej Permata Insan, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia. The purpose of this module is ti expose the students on the techniques ised in industry and academia for the detection of non-halal ingredients in various products specifically food products. Therefore, this module is produced to provide a basic knowledge and skills required in the identification of halal status for the food products. It is our hope that teh knowledge could prove to be beneficial for student development.
