Established in 2013, the Molecular Biology Laboratory is a technology driven laboratory under Institute of Fatwa and Halal (IFFAH). This lab is well equipped with latest analytical instruments dedicated for the DNA-based analysis activities. 20th July 2016 is the historic moment where the laboratory was awarded with MS ISO/IEC ISO17025 accreditation by Department of Malaysian Standard which covers on the Porcine DNA Detection for raw and semi-processed meat-based product. The laboratory offers services for research and routine analysis purposes to various clients includes industries, government agencies, educational institutions, and public.
